New York fashion week s/s 2013

Hey there! here I am again! I'm still really busy with lots of exams but anyway! it's been a while since fashion weeks are over, but I've realised I've only covered the Milan FW and there're many of my favourite designers left! so before my next post (a mini haul) I'm going to cover this FW or at least my most favourite runway shows!

Hola a todos! aca estoy de nuevo! sigo ocupadísima con muchos exámentes pero de todos modos acá estoy! ya pasó un tiempo desde que terminaron las fashion weeks, pero me di cuenta de que solo había cubierto la FW de Milán y todavía quedan muchisimos de mis diseñadores favoritos! asi que antes de mi próxima publicación (un mini haul) voy a cubrir esta FW o al menos mis desfiles favoritos!

Inspiring perfume ads

Since I've been a bit absent lately (got a lot of things to do yet) I've decided to at least make a quick entry. I love ads, especially perfumes ads. I love the esthetic, the colors, the surrealism, everything about them! So I give you my personal favourite perfume ads! hope you like it!

Hey everyone! I've been a bit absent lately because I've been so busy! I've decided to start a report about the past and current (Paris) Fashion Weeks and so I've also decided to start with the most recent one that's Milan Fashion Week!

Hola a todos! Estuve un poco ausente últimamente porque estuve bastante ocupada. Así que decidí empezar un report acerca de las pasadas y actuales (Paris) Fashion Weeks y es por eso que también decido empezar con la más reciente Milan Fashion Week!

Trend report: Iron Lady

I'm back! and I decided to post about a new trend that just came out on the all around the world fashion week: Iron Lady style. You know, very rigid figures, vintage, elegant and very snug for fall/winter 2013 (I'll have to wait a dew months to wear this style as in South America spring is coming). So I let you a few pics about my favourite designes.

Volvi! y decidí publicar acerca de una nueva tendencia recien salida de las fashion weeks al rededor del mundo: el estilo Iron Lady. Ya saben, figuras muy rigidas, vintage, elegante, y muy abrigado para la colección otoño/invierno 2013 (voy a tener que esperar varios meses para poder usar este estilo ya que aca recien se empieza a asomar la primavera). Suck it and see

Well 'Suck it and see' is the title of the last album released by the Arctic Monkeys and it's really different to their old style. I have to admit that it was hard to adapt to their new look and sound, but I eventually loved it. So I decided to publish a post about it and above all the special look of the 'Suck it and see' and 'Evil Twin' videoclip.

Bueno, "Suck it and see" es el título del último CD que sacaron los Arctic Monkeys y es realmente muy diferente de su estilo anterior. Tengo que admitir que fue muy dificil adaptarme al nuevo look y sonido pero termine por amarlo. Así que decidí hacer una publicación acerca de, sobre todo, el look de los videoclips de "Suck it and see" y "Evil twin".

Ok, I have SOOOO many items on my wishlist so I've decided to separate it into many categories. Today is the shoes turn and these are just a couple that someday I swear I'll purchase. 

Bueno, tengo taaaantas cosas en mi wishlist que decidí separarla en categorías. Hoy es el turno de los zapatos y estos son solo algunos de los que algun día juro que voy a comprar. 

Of weddings and happy ever after.

I was just watching a movie called "Marry me" because I was so bored and I came up with the idea of posting about my favourite wedding dresses. So I started thinking about my dream designers and I realized that the only dream designer in the wedding dress question is the one, the only Vera Wang. And it's impossible when it comes to this kind of dresses not to think immediately about her. And also, she designed Balir Waldorf's dress, so now you know why I love her.

Recién estaba viendo una película que se llama "Marry me" porque la verdad estaba aburridisima y se me ocurrió la idea de publicar mis vestidos de novia favoritos. Así que empecé a pensar acerca de mis diseñadores favoritos y me di cuenta que con la única diseñadora con la que sueño en cuestión de vestidos de novia es la única e inigualable Vera Wang. Y es que es imposible cuando se trata de esta clase de vestido no pensar inmediatamente en ella. Ademas, diseño el vestido de casamiento de Blair Waldorf, así que ahora saben por qué la amo tanto.

Hairstyle

I love preppy and tomboy, so I love Alexa Chung. One of the things that I most like about her is her current hairstyle, and I want to change my style. So what do you think? should I cut my hair like her's? I also want to dye it blonde.

Amo el estilo preppy y tomboy, asi que amo a Alexa Chung. Una de las cosas que más me gustan de ella es su peinado actual, y quiero cambiar mi estilo. Qué opinan? debería cortarme el pelo como ella? también quiero teñirme de rubio natural.

Favourite dress

It might not be a plain black dress, but it's definitely one of the most versatile and pretty dresses that I own, and I love it, I've used it for formal parties and going to discos and I'm planning to use it more often because I feel really comfortable in it.

Puede que no sea el clasico vestido negro, pero es definitivamente uno de los mas versatiles y lindos vestidos que tengo, y lo amo. Lo use tanto para fiestas formales como para salir a bailar y estoy planeando usarlo más porque me siento realmente comoda en el.

Current Wishlist

Guess what?! I'm starting to think that I'm like the feminine version of "Bad luck Brian". As you may know, I'm still at high school, so I could only go to the Buenos Aires Fashion Week on friday... BUT THERE WAS A FUCKING STROKE! So I was about to kill myself at any moment until I took a deep breath and relax. The good news are that the next fashion week will be on holidays so I'll be able to go every fucking day, which I'm looking forward to doing, and also, Buenos Aires Alta Costura (wich is another fashion convention) is coming soon, so maybe I'm going. 

For now, I leave you a partial wishlist in wich I've been working just today (my computer is broken, so I'm using my brother's). These are the things that I can not get here in Argentina and that I want so desperately even though they aren't very expensive. It's not only clothes but make up too, so hope you like it!

¿Sabes una cosa?! Estoy empezando a pensar que soy como la versión femenina de "Bad luck Brian". Como ustedes saben, estoy todavía en secundaria, por lo que sólo podía ir a la BAF Week el viernes ... Pero hubo un FUCKING PARO DE METRODELEGADOS. Así que yo estaba a punto de matarme en cualquier momento hasta que respire profundamente e intente relajarme. Las buenas noticias son que la fashion week que viene cae en vacaciones así que voy a poder ir todos los fucking días, y también, Buenos Aires Alta Costura (otra convención) viene pronto, así que quizás vaya. 

Por ahora, les dejo una lista parcial en el cual he estado trabajando solo hoy (mi computadora está rota, así que estoy usando la de mi hermano). Estas son las cosas que no puedo conseguir aca en Argentina y que quiero tan desesperadamente aun cuando son bastante accesibles. No es solo ropa, tambien maquillaje, asi que espero que les guste!

Well, I don't think that many people will read this yet, I mean this blog is pretty new but anyway. Sorry! I didn't have time to post what I'd planned like my wishlists because a) I'm not at home, I've made a little trip to Mendoza and b) Blogspot didn't work well and I couldn't upload pictures, fortunately the problem is solved. Nevertheless Fashion Weeks season started and I wish I could be there unfortunately I can't :( but I'll be posting about my favourite collections and inspiration! until BAF Week arrives! yaay I'm soy excited I can't wait! 


Soon I'll also be posting pictures about my trip, it's really cold here and tomorrow I'll go to a ski centre to learn how to ski, so nervous! and I'm also very excited because even when I'm not abroad I'm going to  have access to the duty free shop where I'll waste ALL my saves! I already have a shopping list!




Bueno, no creo que muchas personas lean esto todavía, es decir, este blog todavía es demasiado nuevo, pero de todos modos. PERDON! No tuve tiempo de publicar lo que habia planeado como pro ejemplo mis wish lists porque a) no estoy en casa, estoy de viaje en Mendoza y b) blogspot no me funcionaba bien y no me dejaba subir foto, afortunadamente ya se solucionó el problema. Sin embargo empezó la temporada de Fashion Weeks!! ojalá pudiera estar ahí, pero lamentablemente no puedo! de todos modos voy a estar publicando acerca de mis colecciones favoritas y mis inspiraciones al respecto hasta que llegue la BAF Week! estoy muy emocionada, no puedo esperar!

Pronto voy a estar publicando fotos acerca de mi viaje. Esta muy frio y mañana voy a ir a un centro de ski para aprender a esquiar, estoy muy nerviosa! Tambien estoy muy emocionada porque, aun cuando no me fui al extranjero, voy a tener acceso al free shop donde voy a gastar TODOS mis ahorros, ya hasta tengo una lista de qué comprar.

Sí, soy nueva en el mundo de la moda y sí, sé que tenego mucho que aprender acerca de él. De todas formas he decidido crear este blog para compartir mi pasión por el arte detrás de la moda. Estoy profundamente enamorada de todo tipo de expresiones de arte y no puedo pasar un día sin tomar una respiración profunda y contemplar bellas obras de arte.
